After a quiet night at KOA/Lion Country Safari (except for the Lions of course) we headed to Canaveral National Seashore to get our Passport Book stamped.  Was an easy drive on I-95 (200+ miles) and we got there 30 minutes before closing.   The parking lot was very small and since it was so late, as we pulled in the one of the rangers came out and told us to just park right in front of the Visitors Center. They had the new Centennial Passport Books so we bought them since we can tell we will never be able to fit all of the stamps in our current books.  I also bought a pair of Hummingbird Earrings made from cereal boxes from a local artist.

 

We watched the movie and then walked across the street to the beach. Was very low tide and had a blast splashing in the waves.  Our very first time dipping our toes into the Atlantic Ocean.  We were shocked at how warm the water was.  I gathered a few souvenir  shells too.

Since it was late when we were leaving the Rangers recommended an RV Campground less than 8 miles away and we able to get a reservation 🙂  Was the only reservation desk I checked in where behind the lady working the desk was another door which opened to the back of RV bar.  She was serving drinks in between checking us in. There was another man checking in with an adorable Air Steam from AK!!!
